Intriguing, with a new plot that I have not come across in Christian fiction. Rosemary Gresham, the main character is the Robin Hood of sorts in this book fighting for the injustices and plight of the poor. the reader can’t help but root for her even though her actions are underhanded and dishonest. The reader is forced to confront the ideas of right versus wrong, and “do the ends justify the means?” I really enjoyed this book and would allow my pre-teens to read it. The beginning of the story moves little but slow, and I had to keep quickly reading through the first few chapters in order to stay with the plot but the end is worth it. There is a lot of curiosity and build up with a true climax at the end. Persevere reader and you won’t regret it!
