Lone Witness [Book In Review]
In this romance novel, the author did a great job at portraying the legal details of a courtroom. She gave more credibility to the story by doing that, which brought the reader into the legal drama. I have no doubt she did her research in that area. Overall, the book ended how I as the reader expected it to end, with justice prevailing. The good guys get the bad guys. The guy gets the girl. I appreciate that as a reader, but it left a lot to be desired at the end of the book. I felt like the author had very short, action scenes. The character was in and out of danger before you even knew you needed to turn the page. So if you’re reading this for the action piece, you will be underwhelmed, but if you are reading it for the love of being in a courtroom, then you will enjoy this book.
I was given a free copy of this book in exchange of my review.
