No Way Up [Book In Review]

I’ve read other books from Mary Connelly in the past and this one is same caliber as the rest of them. Some romance is usually involved woven within murder or mystery. The main characters are usually trying to protect themselves or solve a crime. If you’ve read any of her other series books, this one fall in line with the rest. Because it is the first in the series, The Cimarron Legacy, the mystery is not fully solved at the end of the book which will keep the reader coming back for more in books 2 & 3. I do predict a romance blossoming between Angie and Justin in the following books or possibly Angie and Cole. If you are looking for an easy, weekend read with very little violence and sexuality, this is a good pick. I can hand this book down to my pre-teen daughter and feel that it’s an appropriate read.
