The Key To The Middle East [Book In Review]

Category : Stretch n' Grow

Derek Prince is the perfect person to author this book. He has had the life experience one would need to understand and accurately portray this information to an audience. The first thing I read was his biography at the back of the book because I needed to trust his opinions as an author. I didn’t want his background to be, “born and raised in the USA”, and most assuredly it is not. I value his writing based on his life experiences and his ability to write clearly and concisely about Israel.

The book is broken into 2 parts. The first part primarily deals with the Historical perspective of Israel and how the Bible supports that. The second part of the book addresses the Prophetic fulfillment that is in Israel’s future based on the Bible. With either subject, the author uses the Bible as his source and the scriptures are actually written on the page so that one does not have to go look them up in your own personal Bible. He says, “The Bible is essentially a record of Israel written by Israelites, partly in the form of history and partly in the form of prophecy.”

Overall, if you are looking to understand how the Israel has come to be such a centerpiece in the Middle East, and how the Bible supports Israel’s past and future events, this is a great book for you.

I was given this book by the publisher in exchange for this review.

I'd love to hear from you
